Hummus is a video store clerk who works at the oldest DVD rental store in town. He wears his oversized company uniform of big boots, a shirt, and shorts. He wears the lucky baseball cap that he got from a claw game. He's a lanky teen that just wanted a simple job for the summer. Little did Hummus know that the system the store uses requires him to go into the basement of the video store to retrieve DVDs for customers. He has a fear of cramped spaces, but thanks to some encouragement from his mom he traverses the caverns of his DVD store basement. Sometimes though, while he's in the basement he swears he can hear noises, almost like footsteps or mumbling. When Mr. Fishin enters the store, he always makes Hummus stand at attention like how soldiers behave. When in the basement he has to use the store flashlight since the lights down there are always on the fritz. When he gets scared, Hummus can feel his heart beat fast, and he sometimes can have a bit of a freakout.
